New York Times-journalist Elaine Sciolino woont en werkt in Parijs sinds 2002.
Haar meest recente boek 'Adventures in the Louvre: How to Fall in Love With the World's Greatest Museum' is onlangs in paperbackversie uitgekomen en is vanavond onderwerp van de lezing.

New York Times journalist Elaine Sciolino has lived and worked in Paris since 2002. Apart from writing articles for the newspaper (most recently on Maastricht in the context of TEFAF), she writes books about Paris. In the past, she wrote about Iran and the Gulf Crisis as a Middle East correspondent and she was the first American and female journalist to be granted an interview with the newly elected Iranian president Ali Khamenei (before he became an ayatollah).
Her most recent book, ‘Adventures in the Louvre: How to Fall in Love With the World’s Greatest Museum’, has recently been published in paperback and is the subject of tonight’s talk. Elaine will take us on a journey through the art, rich history and fascinating stories of the Louvre. Afterwards, she will answer our questions and we can enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink and chat about our ‘love affair’ with the Louvre.
